Supplements & Mindset for PCOS Symptoms (PCOS Game Plan Part 2)

In this second part of the PCOS series, we’re building on the game plan we started in part one. If you haven’t listened to the first episode, pause and go back; it’s essential to get the complete picture!

Today, I’m diving into steps four and five of my generalized PCOS treatment plan. These steps are designed to be simple but powerful, giving you tools to help manage your PCOS and feel empowered about your body.





Step four is all about supplementation.


First, magnesium. This powerhouse nutrient helps with muscles, nerves, gut health, and so much more. It’s especially important for those with PCOS, and I recommend taking it before bed to help improve sleep, which is when your body heals.


Along with magnesium, vitamin D3 with K2 is crucial, especially as we head into the darker months. It helps with inflammation and is necessary for many biochemical processes. Lastly, electrolytes! You need quality electrolytes to stay hydrated and support tissue repair. I’m giving recommendations of my favorite brands without added sugars, like LMNT.


Now, for step five: mindset.


Healing begins in the mind, and if you don’t believe you can heal, it’s much harder for your body to do so. Negative self-talk and shame won’t lead to progress, so we have to flip the script. Focus on gratitude, positivity, and self-love. Start by finding something about yourself you love, no matter how small. And each morning, list five things you’re grateful for, even if it’s as simple as waking up in a comfy bed.


By supporting your body both physically and mentally, you can create a strong foundation for healing. I’m excited for you to implement these steps, share your progress with me, and help spread the message to others dealing with PCOS.
